9 French language college students of Ahmadu Bello College (ABU) Zaria kidnapped final Sunday have been confirmed freed.
The 9 college students have been on the way in which to Lagos for an immersion programme on the Nigerian French Language Village (NFLV) in Badagry after they got here underneath assault by kidnappers alongside the Kaduna-Abuja freeway.
Kaduna State Govermment confirmed two individuals died in the course of the incident and 9 others rescued by safety operatives.
ABU’s Director of Public Affairs, Malam Auwal Umar, confirmed launch of the scholars to The Nation on Sunday afternoon.

The abductors had demanded a cumulative ransom of N370 for launch of the scholars.
One of many college students, who escaped the assault with a gunshot wound, Dickson Oko, was reported to have stated the abductors demanded N30 million every for his or her freedom.
