Britney Spears has reactivated her Instagram following a six-day social media break to ‘celebrate my engagement.’
The 39-year-old pop star returned to the platform with a few images of herself from her weekend getaway to Palm Springs with fiancé Sam Asghari.
Spears’ decision to delete her page on September 14 was of her own volition per attorney Mathew Rosengart, but on Monday she was ‘back already’ as she said she ‘couldn’t stay away from the gram too long.’

After many fans had questioned for months if she was backlogging content, she tried to affirm that the photos were taken recently as she added ‘Psss I took these in Palm Springs with clip in extensions.’
However, many did not seem to buy that the images were from the past weekend, as several users noted how she had short hair with red dyed pieces on the date of her engagement post just one week ago.

‘But britney you have shorter red hair now so how could these be from your engagement getaway?,’ wrote one, while another seconded: ‘babes wasn’t ur hair red like 5 days ago.’
Images obtained by DailyMail.com of Britney and Sam driving in her Mercedes on September 17 however, seemed to show her without red hair.
On September 14 fans were shocked to find that Spears seemed to delete her Instagram page before she took to Twitter to elaborate on the matter.
‘Don’t worry folks…just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement!!!! I’ll be back soon,’ she wrote.

Boyfriend of five years Asghari popped the question on September 12, as she flashed her four carat diamond and wrote ‘I can’t f**king believe it’ adding that the proposal was ‘worth the wait.’
Just days after her engagement news, a Page Six insider confirmed that it ‘was her decision’ to delete the page as it was a way to send a ‘powerful message’ ahead of her next conservatorship hearing on September 29.
‘She’s happy and in a great place…silence can be a powerful thing and a powerful message,’ a source shared.
Her newly appointed attorney Rosengart also confirmed separately to the publication that it was ‘his client’s choice to take a social media break.’
Previously it was said by a TMZ insider that one reason for the social media detox was due to the fact that her camp thought some posts (including topless ones) were getting too ‘out there’ which may not bode well in court.

Her September 29 court hearing will discuss the matter of her conservatorship all together, after her father Jamie Spears asked the judge to end it following mounting pressure.
