Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri has revealed that his 2020 switch to Previous Trafford was prone to collapse due to his ‘child signature’ that meant he needed to re-sign the entire paperwork.

Pellistri’s £8m transfer Uruguayan giants Penarol was accomplished late on switch deadline day final October, however a problem together with his signature on the contracts not matching the one filed with the Uruguayan Soccer Affiliation meant every part needed to be redone.

That meant risking lacking the deadline and United needed to apply for an extension to make sure that every part was filed accurately.

“My switch went by means of 10 minutes earlier than the deadline. I left the coaching floor and signed a contract; I did that through a Facetime name from a lawyer,” Pellistri defined to The Athletic.

“I signed all of the papers – and there have been heaps, in English and Spanish – however then, once I thought every part had been completed, I received a name from United to say that my signature was flawed.
