The Lagos State Authorities has ordered the closure of private and non-private faculties within the state indefinitely.
This was introduced in a press assertion by the state’s Head of Public Affairs, Ministry of Schooling, Kayode Abayomi.
The assertion was titled, ‘Lagos directs college students to remain at house’.
It quoted the Commissioner for Schooling, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, as saying that the colleges had been shut down over “pressure generated by the anti-SARS protests.”
The assertion learn partly, “The Lagos State Authorities has directed all pupils/college students in private and non-private faculties to remain at house following the strain generated by the anti-SARS protests.
