A former semi-professional rugby player publicly displayed an explicit image of a woman in revenge after she made an insult over his alleged “small penis”.

Brisbane District Court heard how Australian Patrick Akauola took a number of videos and images of the woman that he stored on his phone.

Some of the vile acts were carried out on the woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, as she was fast asleep.

Akauola reportedly got into an argument with the woman during a night out in November 2018 over him taking offence over her insulting his manhood.

As reported by News.com.au, crown prosecutor Siobhan Harrison told the court Akauola publicly showed off the naked photo of the woman as a response for the insult.

The court heard how the image was a screenshot of a video shared by the woman to Akauola.

Ms Harrison said the woman did not give permission for the image to be shared.

The pair were in a taxi at the time and the woman slapped Akauola before exiting the vehicle.

It was a year later when the extent of Akauola’s actions were uncovered after the woman discovered the images and videos of her on his phone.

The videos and images were said to contain a number of explicit acts, including Akauola inserting his finger into the sleeping woman’s anus.

He also secretly filmed her naked in the shower and a had a photo of her performing oral sex.

The woman said she never consented to any of the acts in the images and videos.

Akauola stated his actions were from being drunk and “immature”.
